Our hiking weekend in Warth was an experience we won’t soon forget. We were lucky enough to stay in the charming Walzerstube, which quickly turned out to be our favourite place. The warm hospitality and delicious food made our stay particularly enjoyable.
Saturday: sun and sweat
Saturday began with bright sunshine, perfect for our planned hike to the Steffisalpe. The route was challenging, but the breathtaking views and fresh mountain air rewarded us for every effort. We enjoyed the sun and nature to the full, even though we were pretty exhausted by the end of the day.
Sunday: Rain and cosiness
Sunday showed us a completely different side of mountain life. The rain started early and stayed with us all day. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the pattering of the rain on the roof with hot tea and tasty snacks.
Despite the changeable weather, our weekend in Warth was a complete success. The combination of active hiking and relaxing moments in the hotel made it a perfect short holiday. We are already looking forward to our next adventure in the mountains
