After the trip, the best is go in the city and enjoy a evening there.

Die Tour begann in Ravensburg und führte uns durch die wunderschöne Region rund um Bavendorf. Von dort aus weiter nach Horgezell, wo wir die Gelegenheit hatten, die atemberaubende Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge zu genießen. Nach einer kurzen Verschnaufpause (Pannenpause) setzten wir die Fahrt fort und machten uns auf den Weg nach Schmalleg, mit der tollen Abfahrt Richtung Ravensburg.

Die Teilnehmer des Radfaherverein Ravensburg bewiesen ihr Können und ihre Ausdauer auf der Strecke, die insgesamt über ca.40  Kilometer lang war. Durch die 345 Höhenmeter auch nicht mehr wirklich als Falsch gilt Trotz der herausfordernden Bedingungen und den Anstiege meisterten die Tour und genossen dabei auch die Gesellschaft anderer passionierter Radfahrer.

Die Rennradausfahrt war nicht nur eine sportliche Herausforderung, sondern auch eine Gelegenheit für die Mitglieder des Radfahervereins, sich besser kennenzulernen und ihre Leidenschaft für den Radsport zu teilen. Nach dem erfolgreichen beheben der ersten Panne sind alle wohlbehalten nach Ravensburg zurückgegehrt.

Exploring Ravensburg through its hilly terrain was another delightful experience. The winding roads, dotted with charming villages and scenic overlooks, offered a different perspective of this enchanting region. Each curve and crest revealed new sights and surprises, filling me with a sense of wonder and admiration for the natural beauty that surrounded me.

One of the highlights of my day was the opening of the stand-up paddle season at Deggersee. The crystal-clear waters of the lake shimmered in the sunlight, inviting enthusiasts to grab their boards and take to the water. Despite the chilly temperature, the excitement and anticipation of a new season brought warmth to the hearts of all those who were present.

As I paddled across the tranquil lake, surrounded by the beauty of nature, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for moments like these. The rhythmic sound of the paddle cutting through the water, the gentle breeze on my face, and the feeling of freedom and exhilaration made this day truly special.

As the day came to a close, I couldn’t help but reflect on the optimism that this day had brought. Despite the challenges and uncertainties that we may face, days like today serve as a reminder of the simple joys and pleasures that life has to offer. It was a day of exploration, excitement, and above all, a day of optimism in the heart of Ravensburg.

I swung on the saddle of my gravel bike and took off full of energy. The wind brushed through my hair and the chirping of birds accompanied me. I enjoyed the peace and beauty of nature to the fullest.

But soon I heard a soft hiss and an unpleasant jerking on the wheel. I stopped and realized that a flat tire had stopped me. I cursed silently, but fortunately I was well prepared with spare tubes and tools. After a short break and nimble hand movements, I was able to continue.

The route became more and more adventurous, and I found myself on narrow paths and bumpy forest trails. The nature around me was breathtaking, and I couldn’t help but enjoy the grin on my face.

But then, just a few miles later, it happened again. This time I had another flat tire, and this time it was a particularly stubborn one. I got off the bike and tried to fix it, but it was clear that I wasn’t going to get anywhere without help.

I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket and called a friend who lived nearby. He came to pick me up and the tour was over. Although my gravel bike tour turned out to be much shorter than expected and plagued by two flat tires, I couldn’t help but smile. I had experienced some beautiful scenery and knew that one day I would tackle the tour again, better prepared and with a plan for all eventualities.

Sometimes it’s the unforeseen obstacles that make a trip an unforgettable adventure.
